APICS The Association for Operations Management is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in supply chain and operations management, including production, inventory, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. The APICS Puerto Rico Chapter was founded in 1978 as a non-profit educational organization, driven by the laws, Standard Operating Procedures and the body of knowledge of APICS. As an educational driven society APICS Puerto Rico Chapter have use the body of knowledge of APICS to develop thousands of professionals in Operation Management in Puerto Rico through seminars, conferences, workshops, and other professional development activities.
